Biography

Michael McCuistion is an Emmy Award-winning composer who has been working in film and television for over 15 years. Nominated for ten Emmy Awards and two Annie Awards, he has also composed and conducted the music for the Oscar-winning short film My Mother Dreams the Satan’s Disciples in New York (1998), Activision’s Spider-Man (2002) and Spider-Man 2 (2004) which were released simultaneously with both blockbuster motion pictures. Early in his career McCuistion gained experience as an orchestrator on top Hollywood films, working with many A-list film composers such as Carter Burwell, Danny Elfman, Elliot Goldenthal, Michael Kamen, Howard Shore and Shirley Walker. He has recorded film, television and concert works in the United States, Europe and Australia, and presently resides in Los Angeles. He works with Lolita Ritmanis and Kristopher Carter on many DC television series.
