Biography

Yoko Shimomura is a Japanese video game music composer, arranger and pianist. Before making her debut as Final Fantasy series music composer, she is best known for her compositions for the Parasite Eve and Kingdom Hearts series. From then until 1993, she worked for Capcom, where she composed wholly or in part the scores for 16 games, including Final Fight and Street Fighter II: The World Warrior.
