Richard Reed Parry (also known as Richy) is a Canadian composer and musician, best known for his role as a core member of Arcade Fire. Born on 4th October 1977, he has been a significant contributor to the band’s success and acclaim.
Richard is known for his work on Eileen (2023), Adrianne & the Castle (2024), and The Nest (2020).
As a multi-instrumentalist, Parry has showcased his skills by playing a diverse range of instruments in Arcade Fire‘s music, which adds depth and complexity to their sound. Some of the instruments he is known to play include guitar, double bass, drums, celesta, keyboards, and accordion.
