Stephen Oliver was an English musician, opera and film composer. He is known for the thirteen-hour radio drama of Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings, opera The Duchess of Malfi, The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby, Blondel, Tom Jones, Beauty and the Beast, Lady Jane, Timon of Athens.
