Biography

Vik Sharma is a film and television composer. Vik is best known for his scores to Fighting with My Family (2019), An Idiot Abroad (2010-2012), The Moaning of Life (2013), Hello Ladies (2013-2014), The Undateables (2012-2018), Child Genius (2014-2015).

“I am a composer of music, a writer of tunes, witty ditties, life-affirming, hug-it-out songs made with love that I record, wrap and send to discerning individuals, agencies and corporations that are looking for something a little different in their music. When you work with me, what I hope is that you’ll feel like you’ve found a partner in the creative process. I want to contribute to a culture that embraces music as the key to articulating characterisation, driving narrative, evoking mood and heightening emotion. I can also do what you tell me. I could do that too. No problem. Clients include HBO, Sky, RiSK, Me & You, BBC, Channel 4, Betty, Mentorn, Dragonfly, Optomen, Boundless, Nat Geo, Discovery, Oxford Scientific Films. I was featured as one of Screen International magazine’s new British film-makers in 2006 and nominated for a Music + Sound Award in the category of Best Original Composition in 2012.”
