Meet Me Next Christmas is a 2023 American holiday romantic comedy film directed by Rusty Cundieff, known for his work on Chappelle’s Show and White Water. The script for Meet Me Next Christmas was written by Molly Haldeman and Camilla Rubis, who have previously worked on The Neighborhood and Malibu Rescue. Mark Roberts will serve as the producer, while Simon Lythgoe and Matt Code will join Christina Milian as executive producers.
The film stars Christina Milian, Devale Ellis, Pip Dwyer, Kalen Allen, Kofi Siriboe, Nikki Duval, Mark Suknanan, David Lafontaine, Jessica Thomas, Craig Burnatowski, Theresa Tova, Jose Arias, Ivano DiCaro, and Pentatonix.
In the movie, Christina Milian will play the role of Layla, a woman in search of a fairytale romance with the man of her dreams. To achieve this, she must embark on a race through New York City to secure tickets for the sold-out Pentatonix Christmas Eve Concert, making the story filled with holiday spirit and romance.
Joining Milian in the cast are Devale Ellis, known for his work in Sistas, Zatima, and The Perfect Find, Kofi Siriboe from Queen Sugar and Insecure, and Kalen Allen, who has appeared in An American Pickle and With Love. Notably, the Grammy-winning a capella group Pentatonix, consisting of Mitch Grassi, Scott Hoying, Kirstin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola, and Matt Sallee, will also be part of the movie.
