Red Sonja is a 1985 American epic action-adventure fantasy film based on the character of the same name by Robert E. Howard, a spin-off to the Conan film series. The film was written by Clive Exton and George MacDonald Fraser, directed by Richard Fleischer, produced by Dino De Laurentiis Company and Famous Films, and distributed by MGM. The film stars Brigitte Nielsen, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sandahl Bergman, Paul L. Smith, Ernie Reyes, Jr., Ronald Lacey, Pat Roach, Janet Agren, Lara Naszinsky, Terry Richards, Donna Osterbuhr, Hans Meyer, Francesca Romana Coluzzi, Stefano Maria Mioni, and Tutte Lemkow.
