Solo is a 2023 Canadian romantic drama film directed and written by Sophie Dupuis, and distributed by Axia Films. The film tells the story of Simon, a young emerging drag queen in Montreal, who finds himself in a complex romantic relationship with Olivier while also dealing with a reunion with his estranged mother Claire, an opera singer who left Canada 15 years ago.
Starring – Theodore Pellerin, Felix Maritaud, Anne-Marie Cadieux, Jean Marchand, Vlad Alexis, Tommy Joubert, Alice Moreault, and Marc-Andre Leclair.
The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on 10th September 2023.
