Scott Shields is a composer for film and television, songwriter and producer. He is known for Strike Back (2010), The Borneo Case (2017), The Kidnap Diaries (2012), Men Who Swim (2010).
Scott has recently completed scoring ‘StrikeBack / Silent War‘ the seventh series of HBO/SKY1’s action drama which is currently being aired worldwide. The series was relaunched in 2017 due to its incredible popularity. He has composed for the show since it’s a conception in 2010.
Prior to this, he scored StrikeBack / Retribution and Amp film’s exciting new feature documentary ‘ The Borneo Case’. It follows an unlikely team of activists investigating who is profitings from illegal tree logging and deforestation in Malaysia.
His other recent TV work in includes ‘StrikeBack‘ series 4 and 5 and BBC1’s documentary series ‘The Prisoners’.As well as ‘Strikeback/Vengeance’, in 2012 he scored the television movie ‘The Kidnap Diaries’ for director Norman Hull. The film tells the story of Sean Langan, a journalist who was captured and held hostage by the Taliban whilst trying to film their training camps.
