Freedom on Fire (also known as Freedom on Fire: Ukraine’s Fight for Freedom) is a 2022 Ukrainian-British-American documentary film about Ukraine’s fight for freedom, also known as Revolution of Dignity, on the Independence Square (Maidan) in Ukraine, which Russian dictator Vladimir Putin later used in front of his people to justify the bloody occupation war in Ukraine. The film was directed by Evgeny Afineevsky, produced by Diamond Docs Donbas Frontliner Donetsk Institute of Information Makemake and Winter on Fire Production, and distributed by Winter on Fire Production. The film stars Nataliia Nagorna, Stanislav Stovban, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Ilia Novikov, Dmytro ‘Orest’ Kozatskyi, Katerina Overchenko, Evgeniy Maloletka, Anna Zaitseva, and Andriy Zelinskyy.
