Minx is a 2022-2023 American comedy television series that premiered on HBO Max on 17th March 2022. The show was created and written by Ellen Rapoport, produced by Rapoport Industries, Feigco Entertainment, and Lionsgate Television, distributed by HBO Max (season 1) and Starz (season 2), and features a talented cast including Ophelia Lovibond and Jake Johnson in the lead roles, also starring – Jessica Lowe, Oscar Montoya, Lennon Parham, and Idara Victor. The series is set in the 1970s and revolves around a young feminist from Los Angeles who teams up with a low-budget publisher to create the first women’s erotic magazine.
The series received a renewal for a second season in May 2022. However, HBO Max unexpectedly canceled the show while its second season was still in production in December 2022. Following the cancellation, Starz picked up the series, and the second season premiered on 21st July 2023.
