Good Omens is a 2019-2023 British fantasy-comedy television series based on Neil Gaiman’s and Terry Pratchett’s 1990 novel of the same name. The series is created by Neil Gaiman, it’s a co-production between Amazon Studios and BBC Studios, directed by Douglas Mackinnon, with Gaiman also serving as the showrunner. The series stars Michael Sheen, David Tennant, Benedict Cumberbatch, Sam Taylor Buck, Jon Hamm, Nina Sosanya, Shelley Conn, Brian Cox, Frances McDormand, Ned Dennehy, Daniel Mays, Liz Carr, Quelin Sepulveda, Miranda Richardson, Michael McKean, Derek Jacobi, and Reece Shearsmith.
The first series was released on Amazon Prime Video on 31st May 2019 and were aired weekly on BBC Two in the UK from 15th January to 19th February 2020. The show was renewed for a second season in June 2021. Good Omens Season 2 (also known as Good Omens 2) was fully released on Amazon Prime Video on 28th July 2023.
