Magazine Dreams is a 2023 American drama film written and directed by Elijah Bynum. The film’s production involves Elijah Bynum as the director and writer. The movie follows the story of aspiring bodybuilder Killian Maddox, played by Jonathan Majors. Killian is deeply driven by his dream of achieving superstardom in the bodybuilding world, and nothing seems to deter him, not even the warnings from doctors about the permanent damage he is causing to his body in pursuit of his goal.
Magazine Dreams had its world premiere at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival on 20th January 2023. The film received positive reviews from critics at the premiere. Following its successful debut, the distribution rights for the film were acquired by Briarcliff Entertainment. The official released is in the US on 21st March 2025.
