Sex Education is a 2019-2023 British teen sex comedy-drama streaming television series created by Laurie Nunn exclusively for Netflix. The series is created by Laurie Nunn, produced by Eleven Film, and distributed by Netflix. Cast – Asa Butterfield, Gillian Anderson, Ncuti Gatwa, Emma Mackey, Connor Swindells, Kedar Williams-Stirling, Alistair Petrie, Aimee Lou Wood, and Mimi Keene.
The show’s first series debuted on 11th January 2019, followed by the second on 17th January 2020, and the third on 17th September 2021. On 25th September 2021, just eight days after the third series premiere, it was officially announced that Sex Education would return for a fourth series. However, on 5th July 2023, it was revealed that the upcoming fourth season would also be the final one. The fourth and ultimate season was announced on 25th September 2021, and subsequently released on 21st September 2023.
