Tetris is a 2021 American historical drama film, the story of Henk Rogers, the founder of The Tetris Company and Bullet-Proof Software (Blue Planet Software), and the legal battles which took place over ownership of the Tetris game. The film is written by Noah Pink, directed by Jon S. Baird, produced by Apple Original Films, Marv Studios, and AI Film, distributed by Apple TV+. Taron Egerton in the lead role as Henk Rogers, also starring – Toby Jones, Nikita Yefremov, Roger Allam, Anthony Boyle, Togo Igawa, Ken Yamamura, Ben Miles, Ayane Nagabuchi, Matthew Marsh, and Rick Yune.
Tetris premiered at the South by Southwest (SXSW) on 15th March and is set to release on Apple TV on 31st March 2023.
