The Roses is a 2025 British-American black comedy-drama film, a remake of the 1989 film The War of the Roses by Danny DeVito, based on the 1981 novel The War of the Roses by Warren Adler. The remake was written by Tony McNamara, directed by Jay Roach, produced by SunnyMarch and South of the River Pictures, and distributed by Searchlight Pictures. The film stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Olivia Colman, Kate McKinnon, Andy Samberg, Ncuti Gatwa, Zoe Chao, Sunita Mani, Allison Janney, Belinda Bromilow, Jamie Demetriou, Hala Finley, and Akie Kotabe.
The Roses is scheduled to be released on 29th August 2025.
