Tron: Ares (also known as Tron 3, Tron: Ascension, or TR3N) is a 2025 American action-adventure science fiction film, a sequel to Disney‘s sci-fi film Tron (1982) and action science fiction film Tron: Legacy / Tron 2 (2010), the third installment in the Tron film series. The sequel is written by Jesse Wigutow and Jack Thorne, directed by Joachim Ronning, produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Sean Bailey Productions, and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures in December 2025. Jared Leto (as Ares), also starring Evan Peters, Greta Lee, Jodie Turner-Smith, Sarah Desjardins, Cameron Monaghan, Hasan Minhaj, Arturo Castro, Gillian Anderson, Jeff Bridges, and Sarah Desjardins.
Tron: Ares is scheduled to be released on 10th October 2025.
