Marlowe is a 2022 American crime thriller film based on the fictional character Philip Marlowe created by Raymond Chandler and on the novel The Black-Eyed Blonde by John Banville (writing as Benjamin Black). The adaptation is written by William Monahan, directed by Neil Jordan, produced by H2L Media Group, Nickel City Pictures, Parallel Film Productions, and Storyboard Media, distributed by Storyboard Media, Briarcliff Entertainment, and Open Road Films. Starring – Liam Neeson (as Philip Marlowe), Diane Kruger, Jessica Lange, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Alan Cumming, Ian Hart, Danny Huston, Daniela Melchior, Colm Meaney, Francois Arnaud, Patrick Muldoon, Darrell D’Silva, and Stella Stocker.
Marlowe premiered on 24th September 2022 at the San Sebastian International Film Festival and is scheduled to release in the US on 15th February 2023.
