Monster (Kaibutsu or 怪物) is a 2024 Japanese thriller drama film written by Yuji Sakamoto, directed by Hirokazu Kore-eda, produced by Toho, Gaga, Fuji Television Network, AOI Pro, and Bun-Buku, and distributed by Toho and Gaga. The film stars Sakura Ando, Eita Nagayama, Soya Kurokawa, Hinata Hiiragi, Mitsuki Takahata, Shido Nakamura, Akihiro Tsunoda, and Yuko Tanaka.
Monster premiered at the Cannes Film Festival on 17th May and was released in Japan on 2nd June 2023.
