The Morning Show (also known as Morning Wars) is a 2019-2024 American drama television series inspired by Brian Stelter’s 2013 book, Top of the Morning: Inside the Cutthroat World of Morning TV, and it explores the characters and culture behind a network broadcast morning news program.
The series is created by Jay Carson, produced by Echo Films, Media Res, Kerry Ehrin Productions, and Hello Sunshine, and distributed by Apple TV+. The main cast of The Morning Show includes Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Steve Carell, Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Bel Powley, Desean Terry, Jack Davenport, Greta Lee, Ruairi O’Connor, Julianna Margulies, and Nicole Beharie.
